Useless. Tor is notoriously slow and links broken. Having a browser that throws errors all the time just makes it worse.

This doesnt work.

Sometimes I only get a header lately. The rest of the opening page sometimes does not load that you are supposed to see in order to know you have a TOR connection. However after writing an early draft of this review I quit out if it and reloaded and it seemed to connect so I will give it an ok rating for now til I see that keep happening. Im glad the software exists.

Basically I gave someone 99c for an app that doesnt work and simply returns connection errors as someone else has also stated on here. How is this approved to be sold on here is beyond me. I am a long time tor user on pc. This app on iPhone is no good.

Works great. Thank you for bringing a proper Tor client to iOS. Watch out for insecure imposter apps in the App store.

In the days where privacy and security are truly important (THANK YOU Edward Snowden), an app like this is valuable and important. Ignore naysayers. Get this app! Trusted developer, and quality releases.

First, a thank you to the developer. I ended up using this app because there arent many other options on iOS. Its great someone is providing this. Additionally, security updates are extremely important for a technology like Tor and while Im not a daily user, I have found that this app is well maintained and receives the crucial security updates in a timely manner. Beyond that, Im really not sure what else to say. This is a web browser that integrates well with Tor. It served this purpose well and Ive suffered a few crashes but nothing major. There really arent any special features that I take advantage of and it may seem a bit limited compared to other browsers (more comparable to Safari as far as features go). Im also not entirely sure what additional hardening has been done to prevent data leaks. Im not sure this is as leak-proof as the Tor browser based on Firefox. I have no evidence that it isnt either - something I havent tested. The app does work great when you need access to a Tor browser on your phone and I highly recommend for the more casual user. For those who require the best protection that Tor can offer, you may want to do additional research. After using this browser for a year, Im pleased with the app and most importantly, the level of support required to keep it updated. I would recommend it to others.

Im very happy with this.

Opens .onion darknet pages with ease. Only thing missing is multiple tabs but still 4/5 stars.

The app does actually work. Safe and secure, and loads tor sites. The problem is that is soooooo so so so slow. Im used to the tor browser being slow, but this is like dial up speeds.

This is the only TOR client I would trust in my iPhone since it is open source, peer reviewed and been through 3rd party security audits. The reviewers that say this app doesnt work are doing something wrong (I suggest you try bridging) because I have no problem with this app, and you can even run it on top of a trustworthy VPN service to add an additional layer of security if so desired

I am not sure what the other reviewers are doing - I have been using this for years and it works great. Ive never had a problem with this app.

App installs, starts and shows Tor home page. However, when attempting to reach any .onion address, constantly receive: "kcferrordomaincfnetwork error 120" regardless of ssl, tls1+ or tls1.2 selection in browser preferences. Certainly seems to be a problem

Red Onion is waaaaaay better. This app used to work, but no more. When it does manage to load, it will take you to an exciting Internet where you cannot play any video files or view any image files. It just keeps loading and loading and loading and loading and loading and loading and loading and loading...

Slow, but effective. I suggest using the Hidden Wiki to find sites to browse. If you want to view shady things(you know what im talking about) then this is perfect for iphone. Stay safe with this guys

Overall great mobile tor browser, I also enjoy the option to spoof the info of what device youre using. Downloads would be a cool feature!!

Great app. Does what it claims. Open source is a huge plus. Still has some room for improvement. Multiple tabs would be nice.
